The book explain the stories the family Reymonda.
F.G reymonda is native from the " Val de Travers" in the canton de Neuchatel 
in Switzerland.
Reymonda must quiet the canton in 1837 for New-York.

I am looking for obituaries for three members of the Parquet family who lived 
in Inlet for many years. These are-
1. Myrtle Briggs Parquet (Mrs. Fred Parquet) , born Apr 22, 1884 in Lewis 
County. died December 1970 in Inlet NY per Social security Death Index. 
2. Fred Parquet, born about 1881 in Lewis County, married Myrtle Briggs in 
Lowville, Lewis County in 1903, relocated to Inlet by 1905 or before. He was 
a barber , ran the Post Office and became an entrepreneur, as owner of the 
Parquet Hotel. I don't know when he died . Hopefully Myrtle's obituary will 
provide that information.
3.Thelma Parquet Kopp Russo, only child of Fred and Myrtle, born in 1908 ,
in Inlet. Married first Pierce Kopp in 1932. That marriage didn't work out 
and she next married Louis Russo. I believe she had one daughter by the Russo 
marriage. Thelma died in Florida Feb 13 , 2000 . I can't find a Florida obit 
for her and am hoping she had a Hamilton County Obituary. Louis Russo died 
June 1, 1982, also in Florida. 

Myrtle Briggs Parquet was a first cousin of my grandmother. Thanks for 
anything you can come up with and let me know if I owe you anything.

am also looking for information On Harland Cranson (Rose's husband). I dounf 
one of their children in the cemetary, died at 1 year old....I know there 
were more children, (Harold, Dot and Vi-twins, Beatrice and Jackie. I 
believe Harold was the youngest, and he used to play in a country band...in

Some of the Fort Ann Baptist Church members moved to Indian Lake in the 
1850-1860's. This included the Lanphears and Osgoods. Hiram Bell married 
Sarah Lanphear after the death of his first wife Esther Rist. I am looking 
for the death dates of Hiram and Sarah Bell. We believe Sarah died about 
1898/1899 possibly in the month of May. According to my grandmother, Sarah 
was living with her son Charles Bell at the time of her death.

I would love to hear from anyone researching the Hunter family of Benson. I 
am a descendent of Abigail Hunter who married William Forrest of Herkimer 
County. I have found a family tree posted online and census records that 
seem to indicate that part of this family relocated to Watervliet around 
1850. There are several burial plots in Albany Rural Cemetery that seem to 
match the names and dates of several of the sons of David and Apphia Hunter. 
Although the office of the cemetery had no records on this couple, their name 
is listed on the back of one of the monuments. If you would like more 
information please contact me.

Some of my happiest days were waiting for the last week in 
April so my buddies and I could go fishing up to Indian Lake. We use to rent 
a camp from a real estate agent, whose's name escapes me now but the camp was 
called Blueberry Hill. We get there, throw or gear in and head for Big 
Brook....and Big Brook never let us down, some of the biggest brookies I ever 
caught and I have fished all over the States. Now the Ceder River gave up 
some nice Browns, Kings Flow, Landlock Salmon. I use to think if it rained, 
you could throw your line into the gutter and catch something!I Would love 
to go back one more time. It was my home for four or five years every April 
and I miss it.

Also were in 1840, 1850 and 1860 census. With ages given, James must have been 
born about 1793-4. In 1850 and 1860 census, he stated he was from Canada. Son 
Daniel was in the Civil war and died, but on his papers said his mother, 
Loretta, was a Flansburg. Son William Snow was born Wells June 1, 1832 (from 
death cert. in town of Day). William md. Sarah Greenfield. She and william 
are Joan's great great grandparents. Does anyone have a clue as to who were 
parents of James and Loretta and where in Canada he came from? Anything about 
Loretta would be welcome, too.

I am the grandson of A C Murdock, son of Matteson Murdock listed in the 1910 
census. There is an error in the listing of my Aunt. The listing of Inez 
should be Ina. There was an Inez Murdock but only by marriage for she was my 
Mother. In 1910 they had not yet met.

My father owned a summer home on Hamilton Lake Road, Town of Lake Pleasant 
from 1945-1979; I spent most of my childhood summers there and knew many of 
the "natives" My mother first came to Speculator in 1926 to take a summer job 
playing piano at Harry Gallup's theatre in Speculator. It was at that time 
that she befriended Ann Telfer Dewhirst from Lake Pleasant- they were friends 
for the rest of their lives. I find your site extremely interesting and would

Nathan Slack, born in Amsterdam, Montgomery, NY 1807 married Samantha 
Dunning of Lake Pleasant around 1830. I don't have a date, but their first 
child was born 1831. Nathan's sister Elizabeth married David Fountain, and 
his sister Barbara marrled Alden Lowden. Jane Ann Slack, whe wife of Amos 
Page, may have been Nathan's sister.
